Self-adhesive stamp (banderole) for cigarette paper introduced on 1.3.2004

Besides the new self-adhesive banderole for cigarette paper, starting on 1 March 2004, the old non-self-adhesive banderoles (165 x 14 mm) are still manufactured. The companies affixing banderoles to cigarette paper packs are allowed to use either the old or the new kind of banderoles. The new banderole measures 85 x 13 mm and has a radiused left end. This shape is the same as the medium long banderole for spirits.
